HARRIS MENDEZ–For the past two consecutive season as a Captain, the best part of it is, it feels good to Re-Open or Open the opportunity to the aspiring D10 players to play in the Season, who loves playing volleyball, teamwork, fun, competitiveness, and sportsmanship. For me Captaining comes with the vision and purpose. Being the core of the team, a captain should be the source of encouragement, and trust the team every moment 100%. After the coach and my briefing, I encourage my players to collaborate and speak if there’s any suggestions before the match. Fun should be felt by everyone, I asked the majority decision what do we want to do after the games or team socials. I encourage my team also to socialize with other D10 players after the game, or in any Gotham Social to know more people in Gotham Volleyball Community. I love also every moment with my co-Captains after the games sharing our thoughts, leaderships and fun. I’m Harris, diverse D10 Captain and will be if elected again.
