Jeffrey Yao–Hi everyone! Being able to bring a team together of amazing people has been such a joy the last two seasons. I would love the opportunity to do it again. Gotham has been such a great community. I want to help keep it the welcoming, friendly and supportive space that it has been for me, if not make it even more so. I hope to create a mix of good sportsmanship, healthy competitiveness, and camaraderie both within the team and with other teams. Either way, everyone have a great summer!

Gregory Fratellone–I took a season off from serving as captain (thank you fellow captain Tim for picking me for your team this season!) but I’m ready to go back to leading a fun, loving team to victory in Fall 2024! I’ve served as captain in both D9 and D10 for so many seasons at this point that I’ve lost count but if you ask any of my former teammates, I know they’ll tell you only the best and most positive things about my ability to captain. Thank you D9 for your consideration!

Sandi B–My name is Sandi, and I’m applying for the role of D9 captain. I believe that my experience and passion make me the perfect candidate for this position. I’ll strive to lead by example and have the highest level of enthusiasm for our team. My goal is to keep the team morale high and build strong relationships among our players. Like Lady Gaga said, “No matter who you are, you were born to shine,” and I will ensure everyone on our team knows their importance in achieving success. Let’s make this season one to remember!

Paul Reeping–Many of you have heard me say this aloud, but I truly enjoy everyone in D9. I feel so fortunate to be able to call so many of you my friends. D9 is the division of ~positive vibes~, and I am eager to give back to this group of people I love! Those who know me understand that I put my everything into being a captain. I am incredibly proud of creating fun and successful teams on the court and would be honored to have your vote to do it again.

Dalton Baker–Howdy Gotham! I am running for D9 captain this season. My twin sister’s review on me is “I’m a whole lot of fun, I’m a team player, and he always bring the vibes” Also I won silver and bronze with my team last year but the best part of the season was the friendships we made, you might have heard our chants “Appa! Appa! Yip! Yip!” Let’s go for double gold this season!

Alex Zhaz–Hi everyone, Thanks for considering me for the role of captain for the Fall 2024 season. Gotham Volleyball has been like a second family to me and I’m grateful for friends, memories and skills. I enjoy bringing people together and developing new friendship. As a team captain, my top priority is to build a supportive, friendly, and positive team environment. Thank you, Alex

Thomas Zembowicz–My three seasons in D9 (and five in Power, wowza) have been a beautiful source of friendship and personal growth (and the occasional hangover). I want to create an equally welcoming experience for new and returning players! I think I have the emotional intelligence and work ethic to lead a team through both hard-fought losses and incredible, medal-clinching wins. I’d promise to give it my all, from showing up early to help us figure out how to play smart as a team to staying wayyy too late at Gym Bar! Much love to my Gotham community ❤️🔥 – TZ

Steven Ott–Hey Gotham Volleyball! My name is Steven, and I am running for Fall 2024 D9 Captain. After a successful season captaining the D9 Eeveelutions, I’m excited to curate another team characterized by laughter, friendship, and competitive play in Division 9. I promise to give it my all once again this upcoming season. Side effects of voting for Steven may include sudden bursts of laughter, unexpected friendships that may become long-lasting, excessive high-fiving, frequent feelings of accomplishment and team pride, and an uncontrollable urge to return to the court week after week, and more. Ask your doctor if “Steven for Captain” is right for you.

Amy Santiago–I would love another opportunity to bring together a team of fun talented people who along with all other D9 members, make the division amazing to be apart of. If selected as captain I will help do my part to keep D9 fun, accepting and diverse!

Paul Kang–I am happily running again for Captain of D9 and have been a captain for a few seasons. When picking teams I look to foster current and new friendships amongst my team and strive to make sure everyone has an enjoyable experience/season with great sportsmanship on and off the court. P.S. Archie (the golden retriever) says hi everyone!

Eric Eichenholtz–Hey Division 9! I am running for re-election and would be honored to have your vote. As Captain, I work hard and use my experience to pick diverse teams based on volleyball skill that are competitive and a lot of fun. I also like to collaborate with all of the other Captains and our Division rep, Amy, to create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere in Division 9. Together, I know we’ll have an amazing Fall season.

ALANDY BAUTISTA — I’ve been playing in the leagues of Gotham since Spring 2015. My journey here has been both fun & challenging. It has taught me to look for the beauty in it & to be grateful. I would bring this aspect as a Captain to see situations with the silver lining, & to assess where I could contribute something by creating a magnificent team that promotes sportsmanship, skills & love like one happy family. We could have an amazing Division 9 where negativity couldn’t grow nor foster, & players would have a smile on their faces. To my dearest D9 Family I’m again running as Captain for Fall 2024 ❤️

Kevin Park–Hellotus D9! I’ve had such a blast with all of you the past few seasons and have truly come to call D9 my second home. Now, I’d love to be able to give back as captain and help foster the same fun, welcoming, and inclusive space I’ve come to love. As captain, I’m committed to not only making sure that my team has an amazing experience both on and off the court, but to also work closely with my fellow captains to ensure that D9 is a place where we can all thrive together 🥳
