Michael Diener

Michael has participated in Gotham for 5 years.

Q: Why are you interested in a Gotham Leadership position?

A: This would be my first opportunity to give back to Gotham. I have really enjoyed the friends I have made in Power Class, Team Power, Open Plays and the Friendship Tournaments. Going to Gotham Volleyball is something to look forward to each week. Helping to coordinate Team Power B2 is a small way I can contribute to Gotham.

Q: What qualities would you bring as a Gotham Leader and, in particular, the position you are running for?

A: I am a natural organizer and coordinator. On our volleyball teams, I am the one keeping the calendar, scheduling who is on setup/cleanup, finding subs, and keeping the team on the same page. In Team Power, I created an automated scheduling tool to streamline the B1 & B2 Team Power season schedule.

Q: What do you wish to accomplish if elected?

A: I want to insure the Team Power B2 teams come to class ready feeling relaxed and confident so they can focus on a great night of training with their classmates. While the coaches help the players feel more confident with their volleyball skills, I want to make sure the players know the schedule, are trained properly on setup/cleanup, and feel comfortable refereeing during scrimmages.
