Below, please find the candidate profile of the candidates for Power B Representative:  John Wetsell and Matt Keller

John Wetsell

John has participated in Gotham for more than 10 years.

Q: Please describe your prior Gotham volunteer and/or leadership experience, if any.

A: I’ve been the Gotham Volleyball’s webmaster since 2009 or so. It’s been so long I can’t even recall. Later on, I joined the board as a voting member and recently I was a director.

Q: Why are you interested in a Gotham Leadership position?

A:I love helping and giving back to such a wonderful community. Gotham’s membership has grown so much that it needs many helping hands so that most of the members can have a good experience and I love being one of those helpful hands!

Q: What qualities would you bring as a Gotham Leader and, in particular, the position you are running for?

A: I believe this position needs good organizational skills and I feel that I can bring that and more to this position.

Q: What do you wish to accomplish if elected?

A:I wish to give the class and those involved in running the power program and a sense of confidence and reassurance that all of the necessary tasks are bieng completed.

Matt Keller

Matt has participated in Gotham for more than 3 years.

Q: Please describe your prior Gotham volunteer and/or leadership experience, if any.

A: I’ve been a captain in D5 for one year, and Power B representative for 1.5 years.

Q: Why are you interested in a Gotham Leadership position?

A: Gotham has given me a lot through the last few years. Participating in Gotham leadership is my way of giving back.

Q: What qualities would you bring as a Gotham Leader and, in particular, the position you are running for?

A: Besides having experience in the position, I am organized, a capable communicator, and (I hope :P) approachable.

Q: What do you wish to accomplish if elected?

A:To maintain a respectful, constructive, and fun adult volleyball training class.
