Pride March (March with Gotham)

June 28, 2015 @ 11:00 am – 5:00 pm
Rafael DeArce

Become a part of the biggest Pride Celebration in the world when you walk with Gotham Volleyball in this years Pride March (our first year with a FLOAT).

The first March was held in 1970 and has since become an annual civil rights demonstration. Over the years its purpose has broadened to include recognition of the fight against AIDS and to remember those we have lost to illness, violence and neglect.

The NYC Gay Pride March is a celebration of our lives and our community. In 2014, there were over 325 unique marching contingents, representing a vast array of non-profits, community organizations, corporate sponsors, small businesses, political candidates and activists! With over 55 floats making the trek down Fifth Avenue, last year’s March was one of the largest and most exciting in history.

Show your pride and march with your Gotham Volleyball friends on Sunday, June 28th, 2015. It’s a fun and a crowd-pleasing way to represent the league as we march from 36th Street down to Christopher Street, and this year is expected to break attendance records!

We’ll have FREE t-shirts on a first-come, first-serve basis, so please get there early AND MAKE SURE TO RSVP.

RSVP’s will receive more info re: march time and meet up location closer to the date of the March
