Below, please find the profiles for all Captain Candidates for Division 10. The profiles are maintained in random order:
- Heath Morgan — Vote for Heath and all of your wildest dreams will come true.
- Gregory Fratellone — Hello Gotham! I am once again throwing my hat in the ring in the hopes of becoming one of your D10 captains! This will be my 8th season as a player and, if nominated, my 7th serving as your captain! Gotham Volleyball has been such a valuable and incredible experience for me and it is forever my goal to share kindness and sportsmanship with every team I am a part of. Thank you for considering me and good luck to all in the running! Xo
- Leonardo Velandia — I’ve been captan for the past 5 seasons, with with some medals in my curriculum. Each team has been an amazing experience with different kinds of people and many friendships made along the way. Love being a captain, live having fins and hanging out after and very much enjoy bringing people together.
- Keith Stewart — I’m so excited to run for captain this season to honor the legacy of Hair Body Ace (my first team serving as captain!) and usher in a fabulous new group of players that will live up to the integrity and positive spirit of Gotham. Please only vote for me if you like cool vibes, fun cheers, and cute team t-shirts!
- David Whitman — As a captain in Division 10 for a number of seasons it’s never failed to amaze me how much of a family you can create on and off the court with Gotham. I do my best to always lead with love and support of my players and want to ensure everyone is learning, growing and laughing together. I’m excited to run again for captain to continue to give back to Gotham all that it has given me.
- Tim O’Keeffe — I have enjoyed my past 7 seasons in Gotham, and look to continue to bring a sense of fun energy to the community. I like to put together a team of people who will be able to become friends with one another both on and off the court. Also, I’ve been praying for y’all all season. #YallNeedJesus
- Tim Shin — I want to be captain because it was such a great experience being a captain this past season. I also take being a captain seriously and put in 110% into making it the best experience possible for my team. Most importantly, I know how to build a team that plays well together, is supportive of one another, and can also have fun. 🙂
- Alex Zhaz — Hola, My name is Alex, and I am running for re-election as captain. I have done two seasons of the Power Play program, and this is my third season in D10. Serving as captain since Spring 2019 has been a rewarding experience, helping me to not only grow as a person, but also teaching me to be patient and guide others. I’ve met so many incredible new faces in D10 and appreciate my fellow D10 captains for their continued support. I will always bring fun to the team and I will make sure that everyone will have a fantastic season with me – as exemplified by our team’s silly group chats.
- Mika Ayunan — If given a chance to be a captain again, i would love to leverage my chosen team to win double medal, Gold and Silver, like last Summer 2019 D. I like to lead with people/friends and most importantly play the sport that i/we are very much compassionate about. Lastly, i think its fun to be a captain with those responsibilities at hand. I love challenges!
- Nick Falzone — I have played in Gotham for 12 years and have been a captain six times. I pick players based on skill or athleticism alone, rather than for nepotistic or aesthetic reasons. I think this qualifies me to be a fair captain.
- Chris Bustamante — Most people probably recognize me from cheering every minute when we score a point lol. And that’s because joining Gotham has been the best social decision I’ve made since moving to NYC. Most of my best friends are from my first season when I was in PowerPlay and we’ve all continued to expand our Gotham family. Throughout my time in Gotham I’ve learned to balance out having a good time and playing competitively. I had an amazing time being a captain over the Summer and hope to be able to pick a fun team for Spring 2020.
- Joseph Mignano — I joined Gotham 4.5 years ago and have had the opportunity to serve as a Captain several times. I was also fortunate to be elected to the Board earlier this year and am Co-Chairing the Operations Committee. This has given me even greater opportunities to contribute. I’d like to be captain again. I greatly enjoy bringing a team together, where everyone is encouraged, supported, and has positive experiences. If you believe that I would make a good Captain, uphold Gotham’s values and continue to create a welcoming and inclusive environment. I would appreciate you voting for me. Thanks
