Q: Please describe your prior Gotham volunteer and/or leadership experience, if any.

A: I’ve served one term as a Director at Large, and prior to that I was in various leadership groups for two consecutive terms and have served as Chairman of the T&OP LG for 3 years.

Q: Why are you interested in serving on the Board of Directors?

A:I love the sport and I love our members. I would enjoy the opportunity to continue serving as a Director so that I can continue to make contributions that help the organization run as smoothly as possible. I love supporting our leadership and our players; and seeing the players enjoy the activities that our leaders work so hard to organize.

Q: What qualities would you bring as a Gotham Leader and, in particular, to the Gotham Board of Directors?

A:I endeavor to bring the qualities of organization, intuitive “forward” thinking, diversity, and inclusion. I hope to continue creating ways to automate, “smarten,” and streamline the different components to executing our many activities, including the logistics involved in our tryouts, open plays, friendship tournaments, and any other areas I see opportunities for improvement in those areas. But above that, it means nothing unless all participants, new and long-standing, enjoy and feel like they belong in these activities and the community that we come together in. It remains my mission to make everyone feel included.

Q: What do you wish to accomplish if elected?

A:In short, I always to improve on the past. I want to learn from my previous experiences and let them make me a better leader: to listen more, communicate more effectively. I wish to continue streamlining our processes: making our activities easier to execute for our leaders, and more enjoyable for our participants.
