Gotham is hosting its Wednesday night
Open Plays for its Divisions 6-9 players to give those players an opportunity to play on weeknights. FOR SPRING 2010, OPEN PLAY WILL BE HELD AT THE O.HENRY SCHOOL, ON WEST 17 STREET BETWEEN 8th AND 9th AVENUES. GYM IS ON THE FIRST FLOOR.
IMPORTANT -- BECAUSE OPEN PLAY HAS BEEN FILLING UP QUICKLY, REGISTRATION FOR OPEN PLAY WILL NOW OPEN ON THE MONDAY BEFORE OPEN PLAY. SO, REGISTRATION FOR MARCH 17, 2010'S OPEN PLAY WILL START AT 8:00 AM ON MARCH 15, 2010.
Below is the link to pay for open play. Registration begins on the Monday before open play at 8:00 AM and runs until the Open Play fills up. Cost is $10. Registration is first come, first served and you can only sign up for yourself. Because of high interest, we do not allow people to register others as well. If you are paying for someone else, the other person must e-mail openplay@gothamvolleyball.org to say you are paying for them and that they want to sign up. If we don't get that e-mail from the other person by the time Open Play sells out, we will give the spot to someone else.
If Pay Pal indicates that Open Play is "sold out," it has filled up already. The registration for the following week will begin the following Thursday at 8:00 AM. If you get the message Open Play is sold out, you can e-mail openplay@gothamvolleyball.org to be put on the waitlist. Also, even if Open Play is full, we warmly invite you and your teammates to use our back gym practice space at Rustin HS (18th Street gyms) from 7 PM until 10 PM on MONDAY night free of charge. (Unfortunately, we can't offer the space on Wednesday nights.)
If you register for open play, and you cannot make it, please let us know by e-mail to openplay@gothamvolleyball.org. If you can notify us in time to fill your spot, we will be able to give you a refund.
